I had high expectations for the Richmond VA R. Kelly show. Even with that I was reserving jumping into the concert hype until I saw something worth that reaction. I have been to several other R&B type artists shows lately and was very disappointed. Also to add to the pressure I was celebrating my wedding anniversary of 14 years this weekend. My wife is not musically inclined but if it makes her move than thats saying a whole lot. R. Kelly did not only get her moving she didn't stop until the curtain closed.
R. Kelly is truly a performer and a professional. He took you from each hit to another to another until you realized Kelly has earned and defended his title of King of R&B. Two hours of outstanding singing, comedy and heartfelt emotions. Just a solid show from beginning to end.
Worth every penny wish I could have got my copy of Untitled signed but with the mood set I had other things to do in celebration of my anniversary.
Only one change would be I wanted to hear more than one cut off the new album.
Surprised that Kells never mentioned some hater R&Bs from VA... Oh yeah why swat flies when you are an elephant.
