I think it will make other true artist step up to the plate but, it will take time for younger audience to take note but they will. I think this album has really woke up the 45 and older generation to whom R. Kelly is so I would tell him keep in this direction because the greats are leaving this earth and your one of the last ones left so keep hip hop but mix it up and keep in this direction it will pay off for you eventually (consistent repetition of good music) something to think about....
FAVORITE SONGS:
1) I Just Can't Get Enough
2) Not Feeling The Love
3) Love Letter
I can't wait for him to come to LOS ANGELES and VEGAS - I'm in Los Angeles but I'll take a road trip to see him in both cities - 'cuz he's worth every penny !!!
I wish there was a song with Mr. Big, but hopefully the saga will continue on the next cd.
I love the whole album, but my favorites have to be Taxi Cab, Not Feeling the Love, Just Like That, and Number 1 Hit. IMO this is his best album since Chocolate Factory and Happy People/ U Saved Me. I like that he pulled from his old school influences, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, etc. on this album like he did on those albums. Happy People had a Franke Beverly and Marvin Gaye influence on the album, and Chocolate Factory had Al Green and Stevie Wonder influences. Kellz did it again. This Love Letter album deserves a couple of Grammy's lol.
"Love is" my favorite this week. I will suspect that I'll do what I do with every Kells album. I fall deeply in love with each song, one at a time.
